Around the Kitchen

In floating blues and iron-saturated red-browns, Helen Hooper-Hirst Pottery brings earth, sky and water together in hues inspired by the Tennessee landscape. Every piece is made with Tennessee clay, hand-turned on the wheel or hand-formed with traditional techniques like pulled handles and coil accents. Dishwasher, microwave and oven safe, with lead-free glazes.

Helen works from her home studio in historic Lockeland Springs, East Nashville, and for twenty years has worked alongside Tennessee master potters. She is also Sarah’s sister.
